After waiting for 2 months, I finally get my hands on BoA's new album "Best & USA".

First impression: Feeling weird because of the Japanese songs. I haven't heard any 日本歌 from last year ever since my friend introduced me to the Korean wave. Frankly speaking, most of the Japanese songs were not that interesting, except for a few. On the other hand, her USA debut songs were fine. She's the 1st Korean to hit USA like that, what you expect?!

Anyway, I have yet to finish listen to all the songs. So don't take my remarks seriously. I'll update sometime later.

Was watching TV just now when my mom suddenly ask me:

Mom (M): You decided to go South Korea to continue your studies?

Me (D): Not sure yet, wait till I finish diploma 1st la.

M: If you decided then I find 1 day and go to the Republic of Korea Embassy to settle it for you.

D: Don't be hasty, let's wait 1st.

M: It's better to ask earlier. The more you wait, in the end nothing will happen.

D: *Speechless*

M: Let's get you into South Korea. You study there and work if possible. Find a girlfriend and marry and just stay there. Your dad and I will visit you once a while. Malaysia current economy is not that good. You might end up better overseas.

Great. What happened to my mom? She never want to send me overseas this much. I need to study really hard now. Since South Korea started to boost ties with ASEAN this year, the application might be easier.

And talking bout this ASEAN & S.Korea thingie, the S.Korea President will use the Korean music and drama to break the language barrier. SNSD and Super Juniors had been selected to be the ambassadors. Heck, yesterday when TV3's Bulletin Utama reported about this issue, they even show the MV of SNSD's Gee and also a glimpse of the meeting between them and reporters.

Frustration

My mom's friend had been advising us on scholarship stuff few weeks ago. Her daughter applied for USA scholarship herself from the embassy and to much surprise, she got it. Her mother claim that they don't need top scorer to be eligible for the spot, just determined ones. So I took some time yesterday researching on the scholarship available in Malaysia that would bring me overseas and I found a few.

Sales sales sales. Went to Pavilion with my buddy Shukri today and faced lots of SALES banners. TANGS up to 70%, Esprit/EDC up to 50% and such. After filling up our stomachs and take away some donuts, I went into TANGS for some windows shopping impulsively. And god lucky I went in there to know the price. RM899.90 for a piece of tee?!! Even after 70% it will be RM269.97. Best priced tee cost at RM200+, tee with 30% off cost around RM400+ and so on. I'll never step foot in this expensive shop again, ever. Branding can make a certain things become more expensive.

I once favoured Salvatore Ferragamo for their shoes. But when I found out that they're made from ostrich skin, I felt like "you're putting your foot into a dead turkey for Christmas" (since the skin looks like turkey's). So long Salvatore, may we meet again when you decide to change different material (not that I'm buying anyway).

The best, still, will be Esprit/EDC. It does not discriminate the buyers, priced around RM49.90-RM229.90 for a shirt, you're literally spoiled for choice (well in this case, I am). Besides, if you're Esprit/EDC membercard holder, the discounted stuff can be discounted again by 10%-20%. How good is that? I got a tee originally priced at RM99.90 at only RM44.91 and another one last time at RM199.90 down to only RM99.90. EDC for life! (not entirely)

Sean Garrett) made into the list fresh from studio. There's also some comeback such as Utada Hikaru, Black Eyed Peas and Jason Mraz.

Went to Boss' birthday party in conjunction with Mother's Day celebration yesterday. Sum it all up, it was cool. Even the weather changes a lot from dry heat to windy. Pictures coming soon.

To any tourist out there, do not ever think of visiting KL lowlands as the weather here is very very hot and dry. You can literally dehydrate yourself if you're walking on foot out in the sunshine.
(I've got sunshine on a cloudy day. When it's cold outside I've got the month of May)

According to the news (Hot, hot, hot till Sept) this hot weather will settle down until the month of September. OH IMAGINE THAT!!!!! We haven't been blessed by a sprinkle of rain since... months? DROUGHT MAN!!! State of emergency!!!!!!!!! Okay I'm just exaggerating.

I decided to change my blog banner into a colourful one few days ago and here it is, right above the screen. Reason; my blog is too dull and moody.

안 녕 My Reader

Finally installed additional languages in my Vista. Because it's a norm for me to type in Japanese using my desktop, and also the fact that I need the XP OS installation CD to install additional language, I went to take and open up my Vista OS CD pack; thinking my laptop might need it like XP does. After a few clicking, it doesn't. Oh, so I opened that Vista CD for nothing la? Damn!

Nevermind, at least I get to type in 日本語 and 한글 now. Typing Japanese is very easy as the alphabets arrangement follows the English alphabets on your keyboard. Korean however, doesn't. This means I need to buy those Korean alphabet stickers to stick on my keyboard in order to know which alphabet is on which alphabet, unless I'm a full time Korean typist, which in this case I'm not.

See, the "M" is located at "A" button, "H" at "G" button and so on. Always need to find the correct alphabet blindly.

Watched the 2008 SME Global Audition host by SNSD this morning. Tiffany and Jessica speaks in English, Soo Young speaks in Japanese and Seo Hyun speaks in Mandarin. Watch it here! I hope my You Are My Destiny drama download finished before my 2nd term starts.

I'm crazy 'bout 소녀시대 till I got all their released singles and album in a day (Through the *ehem* way la). Now I'm interested into watching Korean drama, and it will be my 1st one haha; Cinderella Man acted by YoonA and Kwon Sang Woo. YoonA's the main reason that made me interested, since she won the KBS Best Newcomer and Netizen Favourite award for another drama. Geng le.....

Besides, she's really mad. Going straight into Gee mini album promotion after concluding her daily drama You Are My Destiny and after the promotion, off she go into filming for Cinderella Man. She also became a part of the Samsung Anycall Haptic CF which she acted together with Jessica, Tiffany and TVSQ (or DBSK). Mental...

Since Cinderella Man haven't finished airing, I'll go for You Are My Destiny 1st then. Holiday = Drama + Music -tard.

Confession:
I started to have this holiday mood ever since I was in the exam period. Played CS until 4-5am, watch My Sassy Girl until 5.30am and etc. That's how I failed for my exam. HAHA!!!!!!!!!!! (the hell)

Before I go, read this please: Flu virus cases may rise in southern hemisphere where there's a part inside warning us peopleliving in tropic country to beware of air-conditioning as it transfer the virus from outside into your room.

As some of you know, I had a fetish for short haired girl, that's how I fall for Fany. She also had that kind of vibrant smile that captured me. But then Yoona too had such childish smile and also bigger eyes. Owh. I'm really not suitable for any girls. Can't even make up my mind! Pooh!

Just known yesterday that both Jessica and Tiffany was born and raised in USA before coming back to South Korea. Both Tiffany and her are fluent in English, with Jessica has thick American accent. Like to hear them sing Heaven together.

Learned some basic Korean vowels and consonants and how to write/read them that day. Kinda easy. In fact, Korean are much easier compared to Japanese Hiragana and Katakana. Kanji? I don't even know how to read Chinese words *smacks head*

Alright then, an yeong hi kye se yo (will type in Korean next time when I enable it in my laptop).
