Happy Christmas 2013

"Chestnuts roasting on an open fire,
Jack Frost nipping on your nose,
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir,
And folks dressed up like Eskimos."

Happy Christmas!

May the yuletide brings warmth and reconciliation.

Happy is the word. Happy is the thought. Happy is the 'thing'.

My mood had been swinging vigorously for the past few weeks (maybe months) until recently, it changed! So glad that I'm over all the negative thoughts and thanks to you (if you know who you are) whom gave me a shot of happiness which caused a hangover.

Now I seriously loathe people who can't seem to keep their promise. I have had enough for the past weeks and it's time to put an end to this.

Ciao.

Random 42

I'm so dead this semester.

Oww......

Procrastination, gaming, balling (sounds weird though), and constant sweeping-back of my hair seriously used up my time. I don't even have 8 hours to sleep!

And can anyone tell me why I lost interest in the usual chit-chatting at mamak?

Random 41

I missed the old times.

I felt like calling my friends, a few not too many, for a game or two of Monopoly or Scrabble or even a good chat without having any contact with computers and smartphones.

I got this feeling after having a good dinner with Mak and Wenni (where all three of us stayed out of phones). I felt so comfortable conversing without realising the time; catching up with our lives, discussing on shoes, power plants... random stuff. It was so much fun!

I am sick of having 'yum cha' session where people just come out to play games on their phones. It defeats the purpose!

Anyway, here's a great video that shows the past of mine, and many other people of my generation. Love it!

On another note, happy Earth Day :)

Shoe Crazy

Recently I've been crazy in searching for the right shoes. I searched/browsed online, on daily basis, for the right maroon/burgundy suede shoes. Yup, only in that particular colour and material. Because I know I want it. Very badly. This is actually triggered by my dad (yup, blaming him now); he bought a pair of Puma Suede Classic in Ensign Blue. I always loved suede, and been keeping an eye on Puma shoes too. And the idea of maroon suede just popped straight into my thought the moment I saw that pair of shoes.

So, what shoes I put into consideration?

Friggin' love this shoe; Adidas Busenitz Skateboarding in Maroon.

Not Much of a Reflection

Roll the time and new semester officially started. Though I'm still at home right now. Haven't enrol yet. And don't know what subject to take. I still remember back in the beginning of January, I was immersed in shopping fever that lead to a series of Pavilion-visiting days. Remember my post Not So Quick Shop? I stated that went to Pavilion (and KLCC) on the 1st and 2nd of January. And then I went to Pavilion on the 3rd too. Bravo!

The third day was tiring, maybe because of the endless strolls. It is not my shopping day, but the girls. I knew they would be taking a 'walk' after the movie (New Year's Eve), regardless of Mak and Wenni invited me for dinner at Lot 10's Hutong. So, Sheng, Shuk and me kinda accompanied them while checking out stuff too.

Apparently and miraculously, this summer is all about oversized squarish-sharp cutting top in cotton and fleece. And reflective linen long trousers. And leather sandals or shoes.

Colours? Bland, earth with a dash of sharp colours like orange, yellow, or red.

Summer usually relates to floral patterns and bright colours. But gone were the vibrant flowers and welcome the dull, mirror-themed vintage floral designs on some satin-like material. Also the multi-bright colours and navy sailor-themed clothing.

However, don't take my words seriously as these were all random babbling of mine. Style is made by you and own by yourself.

Shoes

Some wear the same pair of shoes, some alternate depending on occasion and some just have too many pairs to choose. I was wedged between the first 2, and that explains the reason why I am in a dilemma right now.

It came to me that I needed a new shirt for that special occasion (such as dad's coming birthday celebration which requires us to go all the way up to Penang... ), as backup to my worn old shirts. And to pair with it, I have my vintage coloured chino. Then, the shoes. Right. No, the Nike sneakers won't match it. I left my Converse plimsolls back in hostel and it was worn anyway. So do I need to buy a new pair of shoes for this, or do I just sucked up with my kinda worn Pedro sneakers?

Random 39

Welcome back to another Random post! Got out of the laziness (though momentarily) of just posting fashion entries.

I did my final examination for the year, and I'm officially in holiday! Back at home, on my bed, hugged my dogs... nothing feels like home. Except I need to do house chores. And bathe the dogs. And maybe follow my dad to work. And... alright, enough. The night was cool, banging (again) newly acquired dubsteps like Barsonic vol.6 by Mr. Nasty, Cinema (Skrillex Remix), My Ferrari (Gigi Barocco Remix), and Raise Your Weapon by Deadmau5 as opposed to my Madeon Remix version.

Both arms still aching, wonder can I perform for Badminton tonight. Rain had been falling on Kuala Lumpur this whole week, good weather for cake and a cuppa. And the good news; mom stocked up cheese, green tea and walnut cakes in the fridge! I was planning to go Pavilion today for stress-relieve shopping but woke up half past one, kinda guilty to myself, haha! Oh, friend called to ask me out for leisure stroll.

Okay that's all. LOL. I told ya it's random!

That cool girl

Last Friday (24th of June), Mak and I planned for a jam practice at his house. Before that, we went for a minor purchase, guitar cable and strings, at CK Music. I bought the Vox cable there, while they don't have both 9-46 and 10-46 strings for electric guitar.

This blog finally breaches 10,000 unique visitors!!! I'm a bit happy because it took 3 years (the actual timeline is not certain since I forgot when I put the tracker) for this slow blog and a lazy 'me' to reach this amount.

Screenshot taken a while back.

Thank you for your support, especially to the returning visitors though I do not know who you are. I will try my best not to be lazy and post more. In the mean time, do check out my elaborate post of Fashion. And now, for 20,000...

Went out for a bit just now with Adrian, Steph, Sheng and auntie. Adrian was demanding a little story from me in my blog to spice up his story-writing senses. So, here goes.

It was a wide open green plain surrounded by leveled trees, forming a circle around the plain. There was a clear blue sky overlooking the plain, or the other way round. You can listen to the birds chirping from the trees nearby, squirrels happily running up and down the trees under the shade, smuggling their beloved nuts. You should expect this coming; a stained glass cup just pop out from the sky and dropped on the plain. After a period of time, short or long you decide but it is still the same clear blue sky, a rabbit pop out and dropped on the plain too. It squeaked (I'm not sure whether rabbit squeaks but am pretty sure they don't meow. In one case, I experienced rabbit barks.) and hopped away towards the shade of the trees, running away from whatever that might caused it to experience such shock. You might want to remember this event as it is quite important to what is coming.

I've been working in an outsource service provider company for almost a month now if you want to know. The job is not very demanding in a sense of physical work, but rather challenging in mentality.

Made friends with a bunch of colleagues in the 1st week, namely Mok, How, Kam, Hui Chin, Ann Lee, Tan, E Sin and especially Sue Wei. Not to forget also Lin, Fieza, Tracy and the others.
Well, the fun stops after a week or 2 due to the leavings of many of them because of studies and being sent to other branch. Now, I'm stuck bored in the office with Tan and How. However, work is work. Fun comes later.

We still managed to go out in the weekends despite the hectic work in the weekdays. And certain thing arise making yesterday outing consist of a rather tiny group; Sue Wei, ESin and me. I do have to ask, why every time we go out must be so early?

After a movie and quick lunch with the 2 girls, they head back while I hunt for my leather shoes (didn't want to search together mainly because I afraid they'll be bored). And I got 1 from Bonia! Although it's not the one I have in mind, but it will do for a Mon-Fri walking. The price is lower than my budget by a large margin too. I saved some money there.

Adrian and Shuk came to find me late in the evening just to irritate me with the collection of Percy Jackson novels of which Adrian just bought. He lent the 1st book to me, thanks! Then we went out for dinner, joined by Stephanie, Vincent, Kok Leong and Lim. Head back to Adrian & Steph's home for a "while", then head out for supper. Hectic? Sleepy actually.

It's been long since I last blog "properly" about my own. No pictures sorry, the shutter button of my phone spoiled months ago.

Still thinking of a bass guitar. Oh Squire Standard and Ibanez GSR.

Ciao.

"I admit that I have very specific taste in women. She does not need to look like a supermodel but must be pleasant, sweet and attractive. Having short hairstyle is a must. She does not need to be tall and have a little more meat on her bones. She needs to exude charisma with just a smile. She has to brighten the room that she walks into. She must also be articulate, laughs properly and have a voice that is not squeaky. She has to be intelligent, smart and witty. Bonus points if she can catch my tongue. Grand prize for me if she can cook decent meal. And most important of all, she needs to know when to do the little things that make me fall in love with her all over again. I know she exist, I just know it."
Quoted from someone over a MiTo.

Funny isn't it? Having the same taste.

Remember 2 months back where I mentioned of having a room rearrangement? It's here anyway, Random 33. I actually changed it after CNY and forgotten to update. So here it is.

Really boring actually. My family and I will be moving to another house soon, wonder if my dad will actually let me choose my own wall color...

Sorry for being late; Condolence to Kay Yan for her beloved grandpa.

*Moment of silence*

Okay, happy birthday to Stephanie and Tan. Great having movie and night tea with you people. And sorry I didn't foresee your birthday as well Tan. Anyway, here's what I prepared for Stephanie. Shared by 4 others, Shuk, SJ, Boss and Yap. After considering what she will and will not wear, and also what she have and vice versa, I got her these at 1st;

Hairclips from Forever 21

Then I was looking for this shorts in TopShop Sunway Pyramid but sold out. Went all other places but to no avail. Thought of having her dress like Yoona did for a change. Scrap the idea and got her something else.

And we got her this instead, textured orange leather bag.

Originally I was planning to pack the shorts like this. Once got the bag, I can't find a large size box to fit it in. And that's after I found a perfect orange box! Seriously everything's against us on that day.

All DIY by me. Looks cheap huh?

That's all. Hope she likes them. And she still thought there's Honey Star in the big box when she gave it to her thanks to the prank we pulled on her last birthday.

Happy Chinese New Year 2010

Happy Chinese New Year

To us Chinese. No matter how you change your appearance, you are still a Chinese. A Chinese always stay true to be a Chinese regardless of the religion. Be proud. Be true. Happy Chinese New Year people.

Year of the tiger

Tiger symbolizes strength and valour. But these things won't come to you even you consume tiger meat or wear tiger skin. It is nonsense. Please, think wisely. Eating a tiger hunted by others doesn't put you in the non-guilty list. As long as there are demands, people will keep hunting tiger illegally. Stop this barbaric actions. Eat only farm animals, wear faux furs/skin.

Enjoy the festive season with good health to all your family members.

One Two Three Four Fourrrrrr Minu- - the back of Random!!!

My room is currently under construction some rearrangements of stuff. Moved a few things from left to right, threw another mound of unwanted stuff, now thinking of a better coordination of my bed and study tables while awaiting for the confirmation from my dad to DIY the wall shelves. Havoc.

I'm spending my holidays by windows shopping, watching drama, finished up my Top Gear mags, read the Artemis Fowl novels and erm..... get my room done with before the Chinese New Year. But currently have no drama to watch, no luck in my shopping (don't have my size!) and don't even have sports!

Happy 2010

Happy New Year 2010!!!

New year eve was a totally random day of which it fits the Physics theory of randomness. I finished my day at school, took the wrong bus and got down at Leisure Mall when my cousin MC called for a late lunch reunion at Teh's. After reunited with some others for several hours, we talk about what to do at night. We cancelled the plan to The Library at e@Curve for a economical meet up at Andy's. Then out of the blue I thought of barbecue and this plan got agreement from several parties and so it went on. And what a last minute plan it was for all our friends came to this party; even those whom we seen only once a year. Spectacular it is. We end the party with a photo shoot-out of cars arranged in a manner of which will amazed you. Further pictures of the event will be posted next time. Back home at 7.25am, I took a shower and slept till 4.40pm then get ready for another party held by my dad at his friend's. Drank 6 glasses of wine and here I am, going out for another meet up.

So, have a happy day and make sure you don't cause trouble for others in case you are drinking. Good night.

Jolly little Christmas had passed and time to get serious on my studies (which is just an excuse, really).

Christmas is such a fine celebration, or should I say the days of people celebrating Christmas has somewhat made an impact upon the ways of how I passed my err... days. I found that I was rather busy to the fact I stopped blogging, not even a flicker of shutter button being pressed on anything.

This explain up that I have no pictures to show what I have done these past few days. I went out for Badminton on the eve, supper at Connaught with ever increasing people. Late lunch at Teh's, joined by VIBP Andy and Liang and George, of which we all then went to SS15 for supper and late night COD4 till early morning. The next day is rather plain, wait until 11pm then went to Pavilion with Sheng, Adrian, Yap, Stephanie and Shukri for a movie at 12.55am; Sherlock Holmes. I forgot to ask Kay Yan out for this movie since Steph's joining.

Teaser of shops

Well, these pretty sums up my boring Christmas. To my readers, happy belated Christmas. Drive safe and remember you still need to work and study in the next few hours.
